Timothy Jennings-Bey, Founder-Director of Training and Outreach | email: tjenningsbey@streetaddicton.org

My name is Timothy "Noble" Jennings-Bey. I have dedicated my life to working with children and families in the field of violence prevention. As the creator of the grounded theory Street Addiction and the Founder of Street Addiction Institute, Inc., I am proud to see my vision and dream come to fruition. For over three decades I have responded to shootings and homicides. My theory Street Addiction highlights that the streets have an addictive nature similar to alcohol, gambling, and substance abuse. I believe that participants in this activity are in need of respite and rehabilitation before they can be mainstreamed back into society. I have 15 published empirical research articles and in 2013, my theory was the second most read new emerging theory worldwide in the field of anthropology.

I am a proud dad to my son and proud husband to my loving wife. I enjoy reading and my favorite color is green.
